60" Point Drawing No. 22

Watercolor: watercolor on bond paper
13 7/8 x 11 inches
Date: 1974

The 60" Point Drawings are meant to be hung on a white wall so that the center of the drawing is 60 inches above the floor. This level specification is typical of Tuttle, especially in the 1970s and 1980s, when his titles often doubled as hanging instructions. This work hung in the Vogels' bedroom.
